I was told to take feosol (ferrous sulfate) 325 mg 3 times a day...but I purchases a liquid iron instead instead...its a iron amino acid chelate 18 mg...do I take it 3?
Have bad anemia. Tests show i can't absorb iron from food or pills. Are their liquid iron supplements & do you think they'd help?
Liquid wont help: If you're not absorbing from food or pills, i don't think that liquid form will help. Most likely you will need to get a shot of iron to absorb it. Check with your physician. Iron level was 45. Normal is 80-300. Anemic. On 300mg Ferrous Gluconate 3x daily. Is it considered safe to try Floradix liquid Iron extract instead?
