Hi, I have been having pain on the tail bone area for about 4 months now. The pain is more in its right area. What can I do is this really bad?

Most likely injury: You may have broken your coccyx or strained the area around it. Physical exam could help locate the problem. If it is muscle, stretches and physical therapy help. An xray could help clarify the damage. Since there is no cast for it, applying heat to the joint and ice to the muscles may help. Aleve (naproxen) is also good. If the nerves are also involved you may want to get an MRI or ct scan. ...Read more
