Can tmj+frequent lip/inside lip biting habit cause slight tingling in lips? No other symptoms, just mild lip tingling off and on.
I have Herpes Type II. For a month now Ive had tingling & burning sensation & lip quivering on my upper lip but no cold sore has appeared. Ive taken valacyclovir 1 g for 14 days but has not relieved symptoms Am I having an outbreak? Or something else
Not herpes: First, let's be clear on terminology. It's HSV2, not II (roman numerals). HSV2 is the virus, not the disease. Genital herpes can be caused by either HSV1 or 2, but HSV2 infrequently infects the mouth -- i.e. most people with genital HSV2 never get cold sores from it.
