I have a hard fixed lump on the outer muscle of my left leg near shin. My doctor quickly dismissed it as a Lipoma. I'm worried it's Sarcoma.
I have a lipoma on my back. Is this something to be worried about and will i get more? Is this related to lymphoma?

2 docs have said i def have a lipoma exactly top of spine/base neck. Still worried I have cancer.Are they easy to diagnose by touch + by its position?
Usually: Lipomas have a characteristic soft and somewhat mobile feel on exam. They don't change much over time. Cancer doing this would be unusual and your doctors are likely correct in their conclusion. Ultrasound of lipomas can show a rounded fatty area or nothing (with the lipoma blending into the surrounding fat). Can 3 hard pea sized lumps under the skin in abdomen just be lipomas? Doctor wasn't worried, does it need to be biopsy?
Random small, doughy, painless lump on calf only visible when flexed. Doc said likely Lipoma. Should I push for biopsy? Worried about Sarcoma. Male/20
No sarcoma: Small soft lesion on calf usually benign. Rare to have sarcoma present as such. If it is a lipoma it probably will not grow much larger if at all A transforming lipoma is bx at around 10 cm. suggesting changes taking place.
