Lip Twitching And Numbness
Lower left lip twitching for weeks. Numbness in the face mainly around my outer left eye. After hours of twitching my face actually hurts. What is this?!
SeveralPossibilities: Most cases of a twitching lip may be due to stress, fatigue, emotion, excessive caffeine intake or some deficiency in the diet such as potassium. Lip twitching in most cases is self-limiting, disappearing in minutes or maybe in a few days without any residual problems. Persistent twitching, especially if associated with other symptoms, should be investigated. See http://bit. Ly/1TPjy6c ...Read more

Here are some...: Don't suck or serve oral sex for men for 1 week and see. If the described twitching fades, you confirmed if it's related what you did. To suck right, you need to exert muscles around the mouth, chins, and jaw, in time resulting in muscle tiredness-related soreness and twitching. But over time, such twitching may ease like the effects on exercising muscles in arms or legs. More? Ask Doc... ...Read more
With severe COPD comes anxiety and often that can be manifested by quivering lips.
Is there any tingling sensation? Any issues with hand spasms? In that case we think about your calcium level being low.
If there are no symptoms of muscle weakness, flickering or fasciculations elsewhere, it is less likely to be a neurological condition. Try meditation-helps many of my patients with severe copd. ...Read more

Probably nothing: Twitching of the small muscles of the face is common, but rarely pathologic. This finding is most commonly associated with fatigue, overuse or other forms of stress. I would not be surprised if you are working long hours on something and not getting enough sleep. You can use B complex vitamins which some believe help with this symptom, but I suggest plenty of sleep and relaxation- be well! ...Read more
I have HSV-2. For 3 days now I've experienced lip twitching every few minutes. No cold sore outbreak yet. Lip twitching due to herpes or something else?
Not herpes: Herpes doesn't cause lip twitching. And unless you caught oral herpes at the same time you acquired your genital HSV2 infection, it is unlikely you have oral HSV2. Most "twitching" of small muscles (in the lip or anywhere else) is called benign fasciculation. It's harmless and usually doesn't indicate any important health problem. Google "benign fasciculation" for more information. ...Read more

Numbness in the front of my head+ twitching in one eye (~a week) and my skull shape has been changing. I'm 20 yrso, is the skull changing related?
Check it out: If your skull is changing in a focused area, then it could potentially be related to the cause of your other symptoms. I would recommend that you see a physician. ...Read more

I've had a numbness like falling asleep senstation on right side of head comes and goes for a month and a weird twitching on left temple. Stress?
Unclear: Since you are being treated for a sinus infection situation is more complex. Pay attention to what part of right head goes numb. Nerves to anterior skull are different from nerves to posterior skull. The fact that you are young and symptoms are on opposite sides of head makes possibility of concerning illness less. Stress can cause non-specific, wierd symptoms; but caution when infection. ...Read more
