No, No, No!!: Do not put your contacts in, even for a short period of time until the cornea is completely healed. You should feel fortunate that you ulcer is getting better. Some corneal ulcers can result in corneal perforation and loss of an eye. Don't push your luck. ...Read more

Hot compresses are the single best treatment initially along with vigorous lid cleaning using warm water and terry washcloth. Compresses should be as hot as tolerable and at least 3-4x/day.
