I had a lateral release and chondroplasty on my left knee on 5/20/16. I have knee pain, bend to 87 and extension to 10 and little weight bearing.
Repeat MRI: This is obviously not a normal recovery process. Most patients will have normal motion by now. The need for a chondroplasty suggests you have some cartilage damage. Have you had an MRI since the surgery? This would be helpful to help define the continued problem. Injections, extensive physical therapy are other options.
