Maybe, maybe not: A kid with a painful buildup of pressure during a middle ear infection can experience quick relief if a hole develops. This is seen as the debris drains into the canal, lessening the pressure stretching the ear drum. Years ago docs cut a hole to allow such drainage if the pain was bad enough. I have an ear discharge, clear watery not very heavy no pain or head injury for about 12 hours. What can it be caused by please?
Mum suffering from diziness, ear pain (long term, not persistant, like electricity). No inflammation. No ear discharge.
No, could be wax: Not all ear discharge is considered abnormal. Ear wax may drain out of the ear canal and is generally not associated with any pain or discomfort. In a child who has been sick with a cold and severe ear pain, ear drainage could be due to a ruptured ear drum from a middle ear infection. Also if your child has ear tubes, infected drainage may be due to an ear infection as well. ...Read more

The answer depends: On the cause for the ear discharge and what the doctor is treating. It could be an external ear infection, or a perforation from a middle ear infection, or a traumatic perforation (the 3 most common causes). Since I do not know which of these (or other) is the source/cause, I would recommend you speak with your treating doctor or an ear, nose, throat specialist for a more precise answer. ...Read more

Vaginal discharge: Sounds like lime green clumpy discharge of unknown etiology. All kidding aside, this can only be accurately diagnosed after being seen and possibly cultured.
