You need to: See an aggressive psychiatrist who will is treat your condition with the seriousness that it deserves before you become completely bedridden. This is a serious situation and one that requires a psychiatrist is very well-versed in psychopharmacology. SUGGESTIONS: If not yet done, get MRI of neck and gray matter (latter using dir). If one or more lesions in either area, plus the new and old MRI lesions, almost certainly ms. Could consider cadasil, or lyme disease, but MRI data points to a different direction. Would also get an opinion at your nearest medical school. Your situation is challenging but not unique, and this can be treated. ...Read more

See a neurologist: The lesion could be in the spinal cord (most likely cervical or lumbar, less likely thoracic), in the lumbar roots, or in the peripheral nerves. Your description is insufficient. A complete history & neurologic exam by a neurologist are essential to localize the lesion & then diagnose the problem. In neurology it's ALWAYS "where" first, THEN "what." Limb numbness: It will help if you specify whether this is only in 1 limb, only upper or lower limbs, or all limbs. If the numbness/tingling is sudden and in all 4 limbs, then the most likely cause is either hyperventilation or simple anxiety, which may however be severe. Symptoms in 1 limb could be a stroke, nerve injury, or vascular problem. In the upper or lower limbs this could be a spinal nerve problem. ...Read more
