Probably need exam: Puffiness around the eyes is typical with allergies and inflammation, as well as generalized fluid accumulation in the body (edema, which may build up in the face and around the eyes while sleeping). Neither- normal eyes: The electrophysiological response to seeing is much like how a camera works, and seeing the negatives on a camera look like the opposite of what we just saw in terms of density of color imaging, and what appears to be ghosting.
