Getting frequent vision loss, lightheadedness, pressure in the head, tinnitus, and tachycardia after changing position (bowing) means dysautomia?

Getting frequent vision loss, lightheadedness, pressure in the head, tinnitus, and tachycardia after changing position (bowing) means dysautomia?

Unlikely dysautomia: Most likely diagnosis is benign positional vertigo (bnv). However other diagnoses include meniere's disease and vestibular migraine. In the e.D. The DX can be made by positional changes. In dysautomia there is no tachycardia with change of positions. Meniere's and bnv involve disorders of the inner ear. Vestibular migraine is more associated with vision loss. Treatment is usually symptomatic. ...Read more

What are the consequences of plugging my nose when sneezing? Feeling slight lightheadedness, head pressure for 1-week possibly from a sneeze I held.

What are the consequences of plugging my nose when sneezing? Feeling slight lightheadedness, head pressure for 1-week possibly from a sneeze I held.

Do not plug nose: If you sneeze with both of your nostrils plugged, you will force air through the Eustachian tube and create a great deal of positive pressure in your middle ear. Rarely, you could perforate your ear drum. Also this method of blowing your nose can lead to increased intracranial (brain) pressure. Learn to use handkerchief or Kleenex a few mm. Away from nose to avoid these potential complications. ...Read more

Had lightheadedness on standing since I was a kid-had checked, all ok. Today had LH then ear ringing, fullness and pressure for about a min. Worrisome?

Low probability: Was the ear ringing and pressure one ear, or both? Any nausea? If one ear might have higher liklihood of defined cause. With single spell relatively low probability of finding a cause with this symptom complex. Been having tingling in face, pressure in ear, tinnitus in ears, lightheadedness, off-balance.?

The inner ear: Eustachian tube and facial nerve all come together near the TMJ (tempormandibular joint). I would want to make sure there was no tumor in that region putting pressure on all three structures. If you were cleared by an ent, then I would check your tmj. We have successfully treated patients with all these symptoms after other more serious possibilities are ruled out. ...Read more

I have daily mild headaches, lightheadedness, eye pressure, sometimes mild nausea, sensitivity to sunlight that worsen my symptoms since over a year?

Headache syndrome: Your symptoms are at least suggestive of chronic daily headaches. Although this is not a specific diagnosis it does indicate that if your headaches are not due to some obvious secondary cause then, you will need a form of preventative medication or intervention. My advice is to begin a headache diary and seek out a good specialist. Don't overuse/abuse over-the-counter medications. ...Read more

I am experiencing right side headache, pressure behind right eye and lightheadedness. The following also describe me: Nasal congestion and Fatigue. What should I do?

See a doc: Right sided headache and pressure behind the right eye in the company of nasal congestion points to the likely presence of sinus disease. If you are using antihistamines to get relief, your fatigue may be a side effect of this. Lightheadedness may come as a result of fluid depletion from the sweating of fever, and not drinking enough to replace your losses. See a doctor for more personalized care. ...Read more

I'm experiencing ringing/ pressure in my ears, jaw pain, lightheadedness, dizziness, moving sensation when I'm not, blurry vision. Anxiety tmj, or ear?

TMJ/TMD: The most common musculoskeletal disorder causing orofacial pain is a temporomandibular disorder (tmd). Tmd should be viewed as a group of related conditions that can be divided into disorders related to the muscles of mastication (muscular) and those emanating from the tmj. A: A diagnosis is very difficult to make without a proper history and physical.
Based on your post it sounds like you may be dealing with a sinus, ear, or throat infection. However the stiff neck is a little worrisome because it could be a sign of meningitis (inflammation of the membranes surrounding your brain and spinal cord), typically meningitis is accompanied by fever.
Regardless you need to be evaluated by a medical professional right away for work up, diagnosis, and treatment.
Good luck. ...Read more
