Vomiting diarrhea lightheadedness and pretty bad stomach pain. Only been a couple if hours. Should i see a dr or tough it out and keep hydrated?

Dizziness and more: If you can't hold down liquids, are now dizzy, ; you have what sounds like significant abdominal pain you should really be evaluated by a physician without delay. For the last few days my calorie intake is 1200 and i've been working out for 1-2 hrs. I've had diarrhea and lightheadedness. Should i be worried?

Perhaps unrelated: You should make sure that your fluid intake is sufficient and that you are not dehydrating yourself with prolonged exercise in summer while taking in less liquid. The 1200 calories a day is low and you might be burning 500 calories per hour of exercise. Probably should check blood sugar, urine ketones, blood pressure and electrolyte imbalance. It may also be completely unrelated and just a virus. ...Read more

Can constipation cause dizziness/lightheadedness. I usually am dizzy when unable to have bm. It is uaually followed by diarrhea. Can constipation press on a vagus nerve?

Can constipation cause dizziness/lightheadedness. I usually am dizzy when unable to have bm. It is uaually followed by diarrhea. Can constipation press on a vagus nerve?

Normally not: Anything is possible but your symptoms suggest that you at least need a GI workup. The vagus nerve is too far away to be directly affected. Are you anemic? If you are regualarly constipated are you sure that it is diarreah and not chyme(liquid processed food)pushing past old stool? Sometimes hypothyroidism can cause chronic constipation. Perhaps you should check with your primary care. ...Read more

I've been lightheaded and weak for 2 days now, I had diarrhea once but other than that no other symptoms, what could this be?

I've been lightheaded and weak for 2 days now, I had diarrhea once but other than that no other symptoms, what could this be?

Weak & lightheaded?: You seem awfully panicky about a couple of days of nonspecific symptoms. No disrespect, but to serve as a virtual urgent-care clinic is not the purpose for which HealthTap is intended. By your age you should have figured out that most illnesses with those symptoms are benign, self-limited & over in a few days. If you don't know that know, you'll definitely learn it as a parent. ...Read more
