Most frequent infections encounter by human are viral and very few have specific treatments--herpes, hiv, hepatitis b/c, and maybe cytomegalovirus--the vast majority/remainder of illnesses cannot be treated, just treating the symptoms. Fever/body aches are often relieved by motrin/tylenol etc...

It could be the flu or many other kinds of infection however since the symptoms began right after moving to a new house the possiblity of carbon monoxide poisoning should be considered.
