Possibly: If you have been diagnosed with sad, seasonal affective disorder, then light therapy can be very helpful in alleviating the problem. I don't know the price difference between the lamps truthfully. However, make sure there is an actual diagnosis, and you can discuss the light requirement in the lights you buy, and the intensity. Cold laser: Cold laser is well known to promote healing. It is used in europe quite a lot (unfortunately not in the usa-due to fda). I would think that its not a waste of time and to certainly try it.
