Diarrhea: Diarrhea orvitting can cause serious dehydration. Sometes oral rehydration is not enough and one may need intravenous fluids. During significant dehydration there is decrease fluid bolume. I : I recommend going to the er. Concern is that if you haven't had a bowel movement, you could have an ileus (your bowel is sort of asleep).If that is the case, the food and fluids you ingest are not being moved down the GI tract and thus you become bloated and vomit it up. Simple things which may make your bowel movements easier to pass include increasing the amount of fiber in your diet through eating more fruits and vegetables and drinking more water.
