Periods 7 weeks apart, last one ended on 4/2, had very light brown spot when wiped 4/12, seems like extremely light period today, TTC for around 2 yrs?
Anovulatory periods?: If you've been trying to conceive for 2 years, it's time to see an obgyn. A common reason that women have periods farther apart than typical is that they may be having cycles where ovulation doesn't happen because the hormone balance is not quite there. A common reason for that is polycystic ovarian syndrome (read more: http://bit.ly/2gYYtbe). ...Read more
My 3 year old daughter developed a strange light brown spot on her heel overnight. What could it be?
Chemical stain?: A light brown spot that appears overnight (not a tiny new mole) with no other changes of the skin surface, is most likely a chemical stain. Juices of certain fruits and plants can stain the skin, especially if exposed to sunlight. Another reason for spots is ink (markers, art supplies, etc.). If all else is fine, then the spot should go away in 1-3 weeks. A primary care doctor can check the spot. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Small, light brown spot that resembles a freckle on the palm of my right hand just before my pointer finger. Had it for a year. Is this normal?
Probably not serious: What you describe is not normal but it is also probably not serious. True "moles" on the palms and soles of the feet are more significant. Show it to a dermatologist. If he/she feels that it needs a definitive diagnosis, a biopsy will be ordered. This is a minor in-office excision of the freckle and will probably take care of both the freckle and the diagnosis. ...Read more
