Yes,: Librax (clinidium and chlordiazepoxide) contains a benzodiazepine, which is addicting. Stopping it will give you withdrawal symptoms. Your depressed feelings are due to withdrawal & not to clinical depression. Stay off it & you'll get better! Exercise & eat right (lots of fruits and veggies). Both help withdrawal as well as IBS. You may do even better off Librax (clinidium and chlordiazepoxide), with higher fiber in your diet. Take it slow though use Gas-x prn. ...Read more

I take Nexium 1xday for 6 years and librax (clinidium and chlordiazepoxide) 3xday for over a year. Is there any long term dangers to these meds? I get my usual 6 mo ck ups.

Meds: Every medicine has side effects and especially when used for long time chances are high. Why dont you stop them under doctors guidance and see if you really need them at this moment? ...Read more
