Levolin Inhaler Side Effects Steroids
My Dr prescribe perforomist nebulizer for worsening asthma. Steroid inhaler affects vocal cords. Worried about side effects. Once start can't stop?
See an asthma: Specialist and an ENT specialist, your doctor is trying to help control your asthma, given that you are reporting vocal cords problems with ICS. Preforomist isn't recommended for long term asthma control
I have shortness of breath after a cold. Dr diagnosed allergies and 80 mcg steroid inhaler. Are there bad side effects to using steriods with inhaler?
What is considered long term for qvar 80mcg steriod inhaler? Dr told me to use for two months for spring. I'm not wanting to develop any side effects
That's okay: You may have developed airway sensitivity or reactive airway disease following the cold. Using inhaled steroid for two months won't cause significant side effects.
Inhaler: If you would add the name of the medicine then an accurate answer would be easier. Thanks!
Advair: Advair is a combined long-acting bronchial dilator and a steroid. When used alone, the former has been implicated in adverse side-effect on the heart. Fortunately, that does not happen when combined with the steroid. Its chronic use can cause mild growth stunting of about an inch during a child's growing years. Advair is an excellent inhalation medicine for the control of asthma.See 1 more doctor answer
Yes: Common side effects include fungal mouth infections (“thrush”) which appear as white patches and can be avoided by rinsing mouth after each use. Other common side effects, which may go away over time, are headaches, fatigue, depression, muscle and joint pain, runny nose, sinus infection, and sore throat. If any of these do not go away after a few days, report them to your doctor.
When using an inhaler (proair hfa) the side effects included mental changes and confusion. What does this mean? Will my personality/memory change?
Proair inhailer: I've not had a single patient complain of mental changes on proair. Obviously, it's a very frequently used medication and if the such side effects were common, it would not be used.See 1 more doctor answer
When using an inhaler (proair hfa) some side effects included mental changes and confusion. What does this mean? Will my personality/ memory change?
Medical evaluation.: Please let your doctor know asap. I don't exactly know what you mean by mental changes. Proair hfa has possible side effects to include: psychoses (auditory hallucinations & persecutory delusions), restlessness, anxiety, irritability, insomnia, confusion, mental status changes. Your symptoms need to be evaluated.
Temporary jitterines: For the most part, you may experience temporary jitteriness that usually lasts for 15-20 minutes after taking it. This is because the medication causes an increase in heart rate. You may want to consult your physician prior to taking this if you have any heart problems. This is the most common side effect.See 1 more doctor answer
Took 2 puffs of albuterol inhaler and one mucus relief pill. Are there any side effects from mixing the two?
If im having severe side effects from an albuterol inhaler, what can I take instead for my short acting inhaler?
Call your Doctor: This is a question, really for doctor. There are several options which may not cause such a reaction. But you did specify what exactly happened, so we can not give a specific answer.
What happens if I'm having severe side effects to albuterol inhaler what should I take instead for my short acting inhaler?
Absolutely!: Lower your immune system, defense against infection, affect your metabolism, alter your hormones in many ways, alter response to physical stress, and other repercussions that you may find out later in life.
