OVERLAPPING MEDS: The combo of Meds you are on looks like you are being treated for anxiety and depression . Xanax (alprazolam) is short acting for anxiety . Trazadone and amitriptyline are long acting for anxiety and depression but are very similar and both cause weight gain.. I would taper trazadone and start cymbalta. You need full lab work up including TFTS. Also a sleep study to rule out sleep apnea. ...Read more

Tracking symptoms with a symptom checklist can help you & your doc see the dose is right. Do let your doc know if manic symptoms emerge. It sounds like a change in mood to celebrate! ...Read more

Decongestant- phenylephrine. Bp med - inderal. Antidepressants- Zoloft and wellbutrin (bupropion). And synthroid. I had asked the ? About decongestant dosage

I was prescribed Prozac 40 mg, Ritalin 10 mg, Concerta 108 mg, Remeron 30 mg and Risperdal 3 mg. Is this number of drugs safe?
