Not indicated: In case of normal growth parameters in a child ( like normal growth hormone and igf1 levels and normal bone age) there is not much significance of sermorelin or human growth hormone therapy. Letrozole is not indicated and is still in its primary experimental stages for use for this indication. I'm on a femara (letrozole) IUI cycle w/Ovidrel-I'm on cd12, the shot is weds, IUI thurs . Can I use preseed before or after the IUI, we want to cover all bases?
Femara (letrozole) is metabolized in liver by cytochrome p450 system. Astaxanthin says "use cautiously w drugs metabolized by liver's cytochrome p450 enzyme system; does this mean don't use astaxanthin w femara (letrozole)?
Not necesarilly but: Virtually all drugs are metabolized by cytochrome p450 enzymes.Astaxanthin can stimulate these, so it could lead to lower blood levels of "certain drugs" according to http://www.Naturalmedicinejournal.Com/article_content.Asp?Article=293. I no of no evidence that Femara (letrozole) is one of the drugs it interacts with. Is it ok to use lotion containing estrogen phytocytes if you are taking femara (letrozole) for ER positive breast cancer?
Eliminating estrogen: Letrozole like anastrazole and Exemestane is an aromatase inhibitor. In postmenopausal pts, the ovaries no longer produce estrogen but the body creates low levels of estrogen via the enzyme aromatase. The ais block this enzyme thus eliminating any estrogen.
