Taking Tylenol regularity but never more than the recommended dose for last few weeks.Social drinker.I'm worried about l have liver damage. Symptoms?

See your doctor.: Initially, there are no symptoms to the kind of damage that Tylenol can do to the liver. Although you are likely to have not done any damage to the liver if you followed the directions, it would be prudent to get some blood drawn to be sure. It is a simple blood test. If you are worried, I would try to limit Tylenol and avoid alcohol until you have the blood test. Good luck. ...Read more

No: In general for an adult patient without liver disease or dysfunction the maximum Tylenol (acetaminophen) per day is < 4g/day (<4000mg/day). All sources of Tylenol should be considered. That means 80mg/dose: A normal baby can take 6.8 mg of tylenol (acetaminophen) (acetominophen) per pound of body weight, in one dose. That means 6.8 mg x 26 pounds = 176.8 mg (but round down to 160 mg for simplicity). Tylenol (acetaminophen) is typically used for just 1-3 days. The baby's doctor may have recommended a smaller dose for some reason, as he knows the baby's details. ...Read more

I have a 3 month old in she is sick i no I am post a give her 1/4 of tylenol (acetaminophen). But how much can I give her in a day like how many doses. She is 9oz?

See dosing: http://www.getreliefresponsibly.com/acetaminophen-dosage/infants-and-children this website is very helpful for dosing. Why does she need tylenol? Does she have a fever? At three months it is wisest to have her seen before giving any medication....Especially when unsure of the dose. Surely she weighs more than 9 oz? 9 kilogtrams perhaps? Tylenol can be given every 4- 6 hours . Have her seen first. ...Read more
