Lemon Juice Reduce Redness
Hi I have natural Rosie cheeks I heard lemon juice can bleach the colour of my skin and get rid of the redness. ..I'm willing to try anything?
Not Likely: The citric acid in lemon juice is not going to bleach your skin. If your cheeks are Rosie it is something you where born with and you should not be ashamed of them. You should embrace this as who you are. If other people can not look past your natural self, then it is their loss and not yours. You are fine the way you are :) ...Read more
Hello. I used lemon juice on my face this morning, I now realize that was a mistake, and I developed dark red marks where is was concentrated. Will this go away naturally? It doesn't hurt, it's just embarrassing.
Mild irritation: Lemon juice, whether from a fresh lemon or purchased lemon juice, is a mildly acidic irritatant. There is no claim that it will help your skin look better, so it is best to not use it. If there is irritation, wash your face with warm water and dove soap, and apply over the counter hydrocortisone cream 1% several times a day. Avoid sun and further irritation. ...Read more
I applied cream containing lemon juice on pubic area, in less than 24 hr red slightly raised bumps appeared associated with itching?
In the world are you using lemon juice on your skin ANYWHERE??? At any rate its important to know that it does NOT "lighten" skin and it is an ACID. ..CITRIC ACID and you more likely than not irritated the skin and hair follicles causing a chemical FOLLICULITIS!!
Try using a calming lotion (eg Calamine) and quit using the lemon juice cream!
Hope this helps!

Can you get red spots on hands from tiny paper cuts after exposure to acidic substances such as lemon juice?
Cannot diagnose: Without seeing these have no way of knowing what they might be. Applying acids to open wounds is certainly likely to induce inflammation and I bet it doesn't feel good. Stop it: Stop applying lemon juice and soda and bleach to your face! It's creating a chemical reaction which is irritating the sensitive skin on you face.
