Depends on the stone: Depending on the chemical composition of the stone (such as calcium oxalate), lemon juice might help slightly, but probably not enough to dissolve the stone. If the stone is made of uric acid, lemon juice won't help. You may need lithotripsy (shock waves) or a cystoscopy to manually remove the stone if it doesn't eventually pass.
