Knee pains: This sounds like degenerative arthritis of the knees, where the inflammation feels worse after you've been sitting for a while, and slowly gets better as you walk it out. If the pain is especially intense in the back of the knee, you might want to get checked for a "baker's cyst", which could be removed. Other problems could be: torn cartilage, inflammation of the knee cap, bursitis, even a clot. ...Read more

Ever since i had my 3rd child IV had sore legs and heavy pierods is this normal?

As we age, our periods can change, again, due to changes in hormone levels, thyroid and body weight. Women who are at extremes of weight (thin/heavy) are more likely to have problems with period. I got a couple small cuts on the front of my thigh. Are bruising, a small amount of redness, and leg soreness normal?

Can be: This can be tricky because soreness and redness are characteristics of both recent trauma and infection. I would monitor the area to make sure that it isn't getting worse. Possibly nerves: Pinched lumbar nerves can cause pain that runs down through the legs. Even simple deconditioning could cause leg soreness - you may want to try putting yourself on a simple exercise program (i.e. Walking 2 - 3 times a day) and see if that helps. I would recommend that you see an orthopedist for an evaluation if your symptoms remain troublesome. ...Read more
