Possibly RLS: It may be restless legs syndrome (rls), if you have an urge to move them which gets better with movement ; worse with rest. Please see a sleep medicine specialist to determine if it is truly RLS ; to adequately treat it. Until then, try to keep hydrated, do gentle leg stretches prior to bedtime, avoid caffeine, and try to regularize your bedtime. Hope that helps! ...Read more

Unlikely Hip: Typical hip pain that stems from arthritis is usually not described as "burning". However, nerve pain, (called neuropathy) is commonly described by patients as burning, tingling, electrical. The location of your pain in the groin is similar to where hip joint pain would be felt, but your description of the pain gives me the sense that this is a nerve. If it bothers you especially with pain and not just the numbness, you may want to see a spine specialist to serif there is anything that can be done. Many Possibilities: Depending on how long it's been going on, i would consider an evaluation by a pain/spine specialist. Sometimes it could be a muscle imbalance, early onset arthritis or scoliosis.
