Swelling?: Usually swelling due to a knee injury does not extend all the way down the leg. It makes me concerned for a possible blood clot, or DVT. If that is present, it is an emergency to get it taken care of. If your entire lower leg is swollen, I would go to the emergency room . Do not delay. Good luck. ...Read more

Depends ...: First have to know what's causing your legs to swell like that. The cause could be cardiac, liver, kidney. You need a good workup by a good internist who will get a thorough history, a complete physical exam, a laboratory exam, maybe an EKG and CXR and when all the data is in have a long heart-to-heart with you on what's been found and why and what can and should be done about it. Painful swollen knee feels like in the bone an moving down my leg what could it be haven't hurt it or anything ?

Need examination.: Your description is not very specific. It may reflect many conditions/diseased structures in the knee. Re-evaluate: At 29 having headaches, memory loss, and swollen painful legs relieved by hot bath sounds like you could have circulatory problems, possibly low blood pressure, and low body temperature. Look at life style: healthy food 6 times a day, plenty of movement like pretend jump roping, and stress management. Be sure vit d3 is normal at this time of year, iron, zinc and magnesium all could be needed. ...Read more
