Leg Pain Feels Like Bruise
Aging: Easy bruising is common with age. Although most bruises are harmless and go away without treatment, easy bruising can sometimes be a sign of a more serious problem. Aging capillaries. Thinning skin. Blood-thinning drugs. Topical and systemic corticosteroids. Blood-clotting problem or a blood disease. Domestic violence or abuse. Consult your doctor if you have unusually large or painful bruises.

Yearly physical week ago fine. Out of town! Bovey ankle dvt like bruise raised small knot. Elevate & aspirin til I see dr? Sciatic like leg pain. Worried.
Best to be seen.: It seems that you are doing all the right things for the initial treatment. Of course there is always the chance of dvt, and concern is warranted. Although your description does not have the classic picture, there is no way of removing all doubt until you are examined.
Need evaluation: You definitely need to be seen by your doctor and have further evaluation. Those cluster of symptoms could be caused by different things like autoimmune disease, inflammation/infection, including blood disorder like leukemia etc would be few things to be considered as well. Go to see your doctor and get yourself checked.
Can I take aspirin for possible dvt until get in town in a week to see dr. I can't reach my dr & have cirvular bruise w knot in middle w sciat leg pain?
Why Gamble.: If you have a true dvt, the doctor you see is unimportant. Waiting a week to see your own doctor could lead to catastrophic problems. There are many out patient clinics that can assess your condition and make the proper recommendations.
What could it be after falling down stairs, bruise bigger then my palm chest pain leg pain difficult walking blacking out falling for no reason?

Lower left leg pain. Sharp but doesn't hinder anything. No known bruising. Just above shin but it isn't on the bone so not shin splints I think?
Could be Shin splint: Shin splints are not necessarily on the bone. What happens is that the muscle belly gets pulled from the bone, but the pain can be palpated on the muscle itself. Have to know why, what activity were you doing, etc. Rest, ice area and see if pain goes away. If not, seek medical attention.
I am experiencing leg pain. The following also describes me: Cold feet. I fell from my bike just over a week ago and badly bruised my left thigh with a hematoma and scraped and bruised my right shin up to the knee. What should I do?

Sudden localized right leg pain. Slight worsening. No injury. Very tender and painful when walking. Is this serious?
Likely muscle: What where the circumstances when the pain started? Anything palpable? Any leg swelling? If pain feels only when walking it's most likely muscular/tendon/ligament in origin. Where exactly right leg? Is it around a joint? Usually rest suffices for minor muscle aches. If the pain persists over a couple of days would suggest seeing your physician.
13 y/o son has right leg pain, foot to kneecap. Knee a bit tender to touch, hurts when he walks on it. Feels better at rest. Could it be cardio/vasc?
Unlikely. More com--: Monly he must have bumped his leg/shin into something. Another condition I would like to exclude is traction apophysitis or osgood-schlatter disease, that presents with similar symptoms. He needs to rest it, avoid sports/running etc for about 3-4 weeks (or more) + advil (ibuprofen) for pain. Get him see an orthopod. Good luck.
I am having b/l lower leg pain since nearly 2 years.. Increased after running, pain is more for 2 or 3days after activity, tender distal medial tibia?
? shin splints: If the discomfort is not in the knees but in the lower legs below the knee, these may be shin splints due to overuse and muscle irritation especially brought on by running. Try reducing your running, ice the legs and, if you can take them, nsaids like Ibuprofen or Naproxen may help. Theses measures may also help knee tendonitis, etc. For more advice or worsening symptoms, see your md.
6 mo ago became fatigued weight loss was 5'7 132 now 113. All blood work normal. Leg ache and bruising and swollen lymph nodes. What could it be?
Get checked again: There are a number of possible causes, including infections and cancer. So do get a thorough checkup again, and a second opinion of needed. Hope that helps.
I have leg pain all the time not when I am walking just sitting still and I can't stand certain fabric to touch against it sometime feel like burning?
Need more history: First of all is this problem in both legs? Is there a history of trauma to the leg or back? If symptoms are bilateral then something like peripheral neuropathy could be considered. It usually starts in foot sole and moves proximally. If there is history of trauma then a process like RSD/CRPS could be considered and people express hyperalgesia, allodynia, Lumbar radiculopathy is also possible.
Several things: This is a problem that necessitates a face-to-face meeting with your doctor. This will allow him/her to examine you, ask specific questions. And possibly order tests to find out what's wrong and what to do to help you.

Hurt my leg just below knee hit against metal dumpster now there is a bruise and I feel like the pain is going up leg?
Acute trauma: This is not to be unexpected with the nature and location of your acute injury. Continue to ice it for twenty minutes 3-4 x / d. Using ibuprofen or Aleve (naproxen) can also help. The injury should be healed in 10-14 days. If it is not or it is getting worse or loss of function see your family doctor or go to an urgent care clinic.
My son is 2 and falls and get bumps and bruises. There is one bruise on his leg that I feel like just hasn't gone away. Should I worry?
Bums and bruises: Two year ols are constantly falling as they become more adept at walking and running. They get bruises as you have noted. If you are concerned about one bruise put some cold compresses on it to reduce the swelling.
When I first took wellbutrin (bupropion) it caused leg pain why? Felt like what growing pains in leg feels like. What does that mean? Will it go away?
Maybe: Each person reacts differently to each medications. Sometimes some side effects are ones that no one else experiences or mentions experiencing. Whether it will go away or not will only be able to know if you continue to take the medication and see how you do. Sometimes lowering the dose and going up on the dose slowly helps. Discuss risks benefits and side effects with your physician.
Get it checked: You have a bruise on your leg for a long time. You should get it checked out. Sometimes a bruise gets hurt again and again. Sometimes an area under the skin is causing the bruise. Your doctor can examine it and may order tests or studies and get a better diagnosis.
