I am in excruciating pain in hip morning also down whole leg with foot tingling. at night severe pain can't sl. walking unbearable?
Circulation issue: Sounds like a problem with your circulation. When you stand up or walk, gravity assists in bringing blood through your legs and feet. Left hip pain: May be scaitica. Sitting is stress on spine. Consider ergonomic chair with lumbar support. At work change position ( i.e. get up for a moment every 45 minutes to an hour) to shake out, Consider a trial of NSAIDS ( motrin/alelve ) and muscle relaxant( if not allergic). Maybe hip bursitis: It is difficult to tell for sure what you have with the info provided and no examination, but my guess is that you have some inflammation on the outside of hip are--bursitis. When mild, people don't feel much during day, but laying on it for awhile during sleep causes aching pain which can radiate down to knee. Position changes relieves the pain? Your descriptive sounds more like a peripheral neuropathy, due to damage to or inflammation of nerves. Need to look for diabetes, low thyroid or nerve disorders. It would be easier: To figure out in person. That not the case, i would look to see if she is flatfooted and if so get her arch supports. Knowing the site where the pain begins is important. It is possible her bone has not fully solidified yet, some docs refer to this as growing pains, when the secondary growth center is still closing.
