NEED FOR SUPPORT!: Most shoes aren't always what is bad, usually it's the crummy insoles they come with! there are many possible reasons (plantar fascitis or calcaneal apophysitis leaps to mind) that you may have pain in the heels, but try arch supports like spenco polysorb (http://www.Spenco.Com/products/footcare/poly-sorb) and otc anti-inflammatories (like aleve). Please repost: and explain what you mean by a "butt" scan. Medically there's no such thing as a "butt" scan. Abandon your unfortunate tendency to use vague colloquial words like "butt" and and state EXACTLY what the scan was called. What you need is a scan of your lumbosacral spine, not your "butt." ...Read more

Seeing your PCP wou-: Ld be advisable, as she/he starts the process of evaluation/investigations/treatments. Pain meds + rest + heating pad would all help. The pinched nerve causing the sciatica by the disc will settle down and symptoms subside, or if not, then pt/exercises, steroid epidural shots might be helpful.
