I had RT. leg pain..went to GP she sent me for an ultrasound. Color Doppler came back negative for DVT. Should I still be worried? I think the dull ache I have is coming from my lower right back..

Neg DVT; Rt Leg Pain: How long have you had the symptoms? Is your whole right leg involved or just one part (thigh vs calf)? Since your U/S was negative, you shouldn't be fearful. Short course of oral steroids (7 days) or Toradol (5 days) could help knock out this aching if your symptoms diffusely involve the whole right leg. If localized, to calf, might benefit from topical diclofenac gel instead of oral med. ...Read more

Restless legs?: Achy pain @ night is a common compaint . Although the pathophysiology( why it hurts ) is still not completely understood ( and appears to be multifactorial) in my patients prescription medication for 'restless legs' is frequently helpful( non- narcotic). Depends on units,lab: In the US, the CK (Creatine phosphoKinase) or CPK levels are often reported with UNITS (which you didn't list) of mcg/L. Older labs use "U/L" (Units per Liter) based on their internal standard. Usually, the lab's reference range ("normal") is listed next to the number on the lab report.
