It : It is hard to fully understand your description of symptoms such as these without further information regarding the diagnosis given thus far but there are several nerve related problems that can turn on or turn up the signal in nerves giving pain and discomfort. Explanation: If you just started Avonex (interferon beta 1a) for ms, may be transient ms flares after the first series of injections, which is not unexpected. Would be surprised if your injection caused any infection, and do not believe the external fixator relates at all. However, I have a very negative opinion of avonex, (interferon beta 1a) which does not work very well to stabilize ms, as all the other dmt's work far better. Still can be nerves: Even a mild case of carpal tunnel can be bothersome and sometimes elude emg. Also may be nothing. Your radial sensory nerve is right at the location you describe and sits right on top of that bone. Truth is, I have the same problem as you.
