Any numbness?: WIth the sharp pain, do you have numbness, tingling, or burning in the chest or legs? I would recommend an MRI of the spine and maybe of the brain to rule out inflammation. These 2 symptoms aren't usually caused by a problem in only one area. Probably best if you see your doctor to get checked out. ...Read more

Abdominal pain: DYoung ~ anatomically the abdomen is a vast space and the differential between pain in each quadrant equally as vast so this question cannot answered unless you can direct me more specifically the area bothering you. Thoughts...: It could be a variety of things... Gas, stomach ulcer, gastritis, kidney stones. Your doctor will probably do a urine test looking for blood (from a kidney stone), do a thorough back and abdominal exam. That can be: Abea tough one. I would go with GI system. Are u still taking medicine for acid reflux? I would start there, making sure u are using a class of med called a proton pump inhibitor, like Omeprazole 40 mg. I would make appt but that's where my bet would b. If chest pain with exertion that's different, think cardiac in that case but overall u rva bit young 4 that issue. Gd luc. ...Read more
