What it's the meaning of a solid mass in a subclavicular ultrasound in reference to a lymph node?

What it's the meaning of a solid mass in a subclavicular ultrasound in reference to a lymph node?

Means not a cyst: The ultrasound was likely done to see if that area had a cyst which would be fluid-filled versus something that was solid. Lymph nodes are solid. If it is very large or is acting abnormally, the next step might be a biopsy to get some tissue. ...Read more

What causes a painful hard preauricular lymph node?

What causes a painful hard preauricular lymph node?

Can touching and poking a lymph node in armpit cause it to swell and become painful?

If you otherwise feel well, there's no point in looking for lymph nodes. ...Read more

Im 21male i have a hard ball under skin not visible that is painful to touch between groin & thigh.I believe it is the lymph node what could cause it?

Sounds normal: Almost all young men have a palpable groin node or two. Mine used to pop up in the summers when I went barefoot in the country. If it's not enormously enlarged or stony-hard or stuck to something, give thanks for good health and keep enjoying being alive. Show it to your physician at your next routine physical. If it's growing very fast, get seen now. ...Read more

What could cause a painful, swollen lymph node in neck?

When there is a malignancy of the oral cavity that spreads to lymph nodes they enlarge, become matted, and for the most part fix to jugular vein. Painful nodes are the sign of inflammation such as oral cavity or pharynx unassociated with tumor. Antibiotics may be necessary for control. ...Read more
