Tendonitis: 30's female w. anterior shoulder pain at abduction, absent mechanical injury, likely has tendonitis of biceps tendon. Heat, rest & topical Cannabis salve + heating pad might help. If problem persists over next 10 days, visit an Osteopath or Physiatrist for evaluation & possible cortisone injection, which will likely resolve symptoms forever or at least several months. Cuff strengthening: Try your best to maintain a full range of shoulder motion. With your arm bent at a right angle (90 degrees) raise your arms upward from your side. Have a friend provide some resistance to raising your arm too. Rotator cuff tear is not present if no pain with resistance.
