Spine specialist: I'm not sure how the blurred vision fits into a problem with your spine. I would suggest an eval from an ophthalmologist for that. A spine specialist in your area could help to diagnose the cause of the neck pain and the sciatic pain. ...Read more

Ulnar nerve: This might be the answer: The pinky is supplied by the ulnar nerve, which has to pass through a narrow region in the inner elbow. Probably ulnar nerve: The small finger's feeling is provided by the ulnar nerve. If this nerve is pinched, it will cause numbness in the small finger, and the side of the ring finger closest to the small finger. The : The most likely cause for your symptoms is an ulnar neuropathy at the elbow. This means that the ulnar nerve (the "funny bone" nerve) is irritated, stretched or compressed in the area around the elbow. Sometimes, merely keeping the elbow fairly straight can help. Some patients use an elbow brace at night to prevent too much elbow flexion. If your activities cause you to apply a lot of pressure to your elbows (such as crawling on the elbows), an elbow pad could help. Most important would be an evaluation by a hand specialist. The specialist would likely obtain electrodiagnositc studies (emg/ncs) to test the status of the ulnar nerve. Additional treatment would then depend on the test results and your physical examination findings. There can be other causes for your symptoms as well, less likely, so a proper diagnosis is critical. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
