Grinding feeling: Definitely not a sign of menopause. Possibly it is a cramp from the tube on that side as periods are associated with cramping pain. If the feeling resolves on its own and no other symptoms present and the discomfort is not that bad, i'd just watch it. ...Read more

Possibly: Sometimes ovarian cysts rupture and women know it, sometimes it's painless. I don't think the discharge is affected by or is affecting the cyst. At 12 cm i would also keep torsion or twisting of the cyst in back of my mind. Watch out for roller coasters or going upside down. Hope that helps! ...Read more

Yes: It does not hurt to do a transvaginal ultrasound. You may also get a first glimpse of the embryo depending on when conception took place. In the meantime I see that you are on doxycycline.
