I have left lower abdominal pain made worse by sex and after urination, had a cyst before that was removed. I now also have piles but no constipation. Is there any relation between the two?

LLQ pain: Left lower abdominal discomfort after sexual activity and urination suggests an abdominal muscle strain. Another possibility is some degree of pelvic congestion. If you have no associated bowel symptoms I doubt an intestinal cause. The presence of hemorrhoids is nonspecific and they should not play a role in abdominal symptoms. I was diagnosed with a kidney stone a week ago when having left lower abdominal pain and back pain. It appeared from X-ray to be in my urethra perhaps. Now I'm having pain in right sides. Can it travel to another side?

I was diagnosed with a kidney stone a week ago when having left lower abdominal pain and back pain. It appeared from X-ray to be in my urethra perhaps. Now I'm having pain in right sides. Can it travel to another side?

No travel upstream: Kidney or ureteral stones can be in the left kidney or ureter, the right, or both sides. There's no physical way for a stone to travel from one side to the other side, because that would mean a stone would have to travel down into the bladder and then back upstream the other side (not possible to do). A stone in the urethra can block the bladder, backing urine up both ureters and both kidneys. ...Read more

Upper lower abdominal pain worse with bowl movement. Runny stools but wen have firm there are indents. Mucus and sometimes blood in stools.

May be significant: Abdomenal pain with runny stools in your age group could indicate inflammatory bowel disease (ibd). Blood in stools is always abnormal. You need a colonoscopy at the minimum and this could tell the tale. It may be something as simple as hemorrhoids, but with runny stools, especially if there is weight loss, is more indicative of ibd. See a good gastroenterologist or colo-rectal surgeon. ...Read more
