Left Hand Shaking Symptoms
I'd like to see it: Trapping nerves doesn't result in limbs "shaking." If you've pain you may've broken something. Fine tremulousness based on this is a possibility. Something a bit less good to have may be a simple partial seizure following a good whack the head. If you'd like to connect with me by webcam & show me what's going on that'd be best. Or go to an ER. Yes, could/would fit: Dm degrades both macrovascular (accelerates atherosclerosis) & microvascular blood supply to tissues & ↑ed sugar changes/interferes with the function of most cells & proteins, thus accelerates all kinds of problems, very much including brain/dementia problems. These are complex issues with many additional factors, many still not well understood. Optimal hba1c ≤5.0%, yet not said to be dm til ≥6.5. ...Read more

Paresthesias: Paresthesias refers to tingling secondary to nerve irritation. One of the most common causes for paresthesias in the hand is carpal tunnel syndrome. The next would be an ulnar neuropathy. And lastly the differential would include cervical spine disease. Vascular disorders would be unusual as both hands would likely be involved. Similarly, a peripheral neuropathy prefers the lower extremities. ...Read more
I had a friend who had an lad, that almost sent him to meet jesus. He stated the only symptom he had was tingling in his left hand the week prior. Why?
Men and Hearts:
It is impossible to speak to your friends situation specifically. But, in general men do not pay attention to the signals their body sends them. He could also be obese or be a smoker or drinker and not be very healthy in general, but we do not know these things from your simple question.
But, silent heart attacks to occur and are very real and there is very little to do about them. ...Read more

stabbing pain in the palm of my left hand, no other symptoms, does not come from anywhere else. Been about 20 minutes. 41 yr old female. No injury?
It may be in irritat: it may be an irritated nerve. Can't say for sure where it would be coming from but someplace up the arm. Could even be as far up is it your neck. I'm assuming the palm of your hand is not tender. Your physician will evaluate you, see if these issues are occurring, might recommend a splint for your wrist to start with, but you need a full evaluation for the best therapy. ...Read more
Tingling in middle and ring finger on left hand, not constant, only on occasion, no other symptoms or pain. Should I be worried?
Hi I have caparl tunnel- like symptoms in my left hand. Do these symptoms appear with other conditions, or is it almost assuredly carpal tunnel?
Yes, likely CTS.: If your symptoms involve only the median nerve, it is likely carpal tunnel but testing with Nerve Conduction Studies or Electromyography would help differentiate among other conditions that affect the nerves that originate from your back or from your muscles themselves. Approximately 65% of patients have bilateral symptoms of Carpal Tunnel. ...Read more

I'll start with...: ...the most serious possibility: angina or heart pain. Some people can have a heart attack w/o ever having chest pain. Second on my list is a pinched nerve in the neck causing pain and numbness along its track from the spine to the hand. Muscle spasms can also cause this type of pain. I'm glad your b/p & pulse were normal but that doesn't mean all is okay. Please get medical attention. ...Read more

Is weird numbness and tingling on the left side of your left hand a symptom of impending heart attack?
Probably not: Arm pain that radiates (travels to) the hand and particularly the fingers is usually not heart related, but more likely to be a pinched nerve in the neck. The is referred to as as cervical neuropahy, if it comes from the spine, or brachial neuropathy, if it comes from lower down. I've seem this happen if someone leans heavily on crutches they have been using for a sprained knee. ...Read more
I have my left hand tingling (it has been 3 days) and today my eye is red) what is the problem? And are the 2 symptoms related?
Severe neck pain and tingly pinky finger in left hand. No pain in arm. Is this radiculopathy? Had same symptoms right side 2 months ago.
Maybe: It's possible, but radiculopathy is not something you should try to self-diagnose. You need a thorough history and neurologic exam by an experienced clinician, and, if the doc thinks you need it, C-spine MRI and/or EMG/NCS. I can't tell from your post if this is benign or serious. You should have it checked out. ...Read more
