First off it is difficult to know what you mean by a swelling collar bone but in a 29 year old female with chest tightness and abdominal distension I'd certainly want to know if she was pregnant, does she smoke, is she on birth control, time frame of symptoms, I think you should see a doctor. ...Read more

Inflammation: Inflammation of the sternoclavicular joint is not very common but it appears to be what you're dealing with. I'm not sure if your allergies are associated with it. Plat yams muscle pul: You probably pulled your platysma muscle. There is normal clicking of the larynx over the spine when you swallow. You can try some Motrin 600 mg three times a day for any inflammation in this area. I have not really seen clicking so bad in my practice that I had to treat it. The Motrin will help the muscle strain. If it is not better in a few weeks, see an ENT doctor and they will check it. ...Read more

Maybe, maybe not: Pain in the collarbone area is not a common sign or symptom in tmd. However, very tight jaw muscles and neck pain are commonly seen in tmd. It sounds like you may be suffering from myofascial pain dysfunction syndrome (mpds), which is one of several forms of tmd (temporomandibular disorders).
