More info: In general, if the symptoms change with eating, it is likely gi. If the discomfort getw worse with physical activity, cardiac causes may need to be considered. Sharp pain on left side chest between ribs when lifting left arm + swollen painful lymph node under left armpit?
Some thoughts: A swollen painful lump in axilla (armpit) accompanied by pain on same side when lifting your arm is likely caused by an infection or inflammation of the sweat glands associated with hair follicles in axillary hair (hidradenitis suppurativa) or perhaps an irritation from deodorant. Need exam: Your symptoms suggest cubital tunnel syndrome ( ulnar nerve entrapment @ elbow) but a thorough history and physical exam is required to confirm. Supraspinatus( rotator cuff) injuries can occasionally present as you describe but this would be unusual.
