Nerve: It is more likely that you have nerve entrapment referrable to a neck disk bulging. A neurologist could evaluate you for this. Agree: Agree that numbness and tingling in the pinky finger is likely a pinched nerve in the neck (c8) or injury to the ulnar nerve. Would suggest a physiatric or neurologic evaluation. May benefit from emg/ncv testing. ...Read more

Pinched nerve?: Nerves in your arms trace all the way back to your neck (nerve roots). Any pinching of those nerves, for any reason, is officially called radiculopathy. Standard tests include emg/nerve conduction study, perhaps MRI of the c-spine. I'd ask to see a neurologist for work up, pain physician if the tingling of a painful quality. ...Read more

Muscle strain going : into your back and neck. Don't lift any weights. See your doctor. Icing may be helpful, and OTC pain meds may bring relief like ibuprofen.
