Yes: Heart pain can certainly come and go, but coronary disease is almost unheard of at age 23. The best test to truly eliminate coronary artery disease is a catheterization, which should be done even if stress test is negative IF symptoms persist, AND there is no other reason, such as spasm of the esophagus, reflux disease, costochondritis, etc. AND clinical picture is appropriate.
