Screening EKG: Most important thing is to see someone for basics. If your last doctor did not rate you as high risk for heart vessel diasease, that can be reassuring - but most important thing is to get an EKG and figure out if you have other things like asthma contributing.

POTS: Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome is a condition in which the heart abnormally has an exaggerated increase in heart rate in change in position from lying down to standing up. This can result in varied symptoms including palpitations, dizziness, fainting (less brain flow), chest pain, numbness/tingling. You should see your cardiologist for continued management.

These are questions that need to be ass you're better off probably seeing a pediatric orthopedic surgeon as soon as possible he may just have some mild sprain but again or evaluation would be warranted.

Go to ER IMMEDIATELY: You may be young, but that does not preclude a heart attack. The symptoms you describe, esp. If they are associated with excessive sweating &/or nausea are typical signs of heart attack & angina in males. Go to the ER NOW & get it checked out. If they find nothing abnormal, they may require a cardiac stress test. If nothing cardiac is found, further exam should be undertaken by you family dr.

Left arm pain & heaviness. No chest pain. Still able to do everyday tasks with arm, just a heavy feeling. Also have health anxiety?

Not typical angina: This could be a heart problem without chest pain. Self diagnosis is not a good idea even for a doctor like me. If you don't have a primary physician, then now you know why it would be a good idea to have one. An EKG and some blood tests plus a good examination can answer this for you.

Go to the ER: I can't tell your age from this question, but the kind of pain that you are describing is possibly related to the heart. It needs to be checked out immediately. I would go straight to the emergency room now. Good luck.

27 female 240lbs 5'8. chest pain and left arm pain ekg, blood, xrays done came back good. So what's wrong with me?

Smoker?: Do you smoke? If your your pain occurs with exertion and you smoke, you need a stress test. If no to both, the pain is almost surely not your heart. If the pain goes down your arm, nerve impingement in the neck (disc herniation for instance) is a likely bet. Also muscular strain and fibromyalgia can cause this.

Checkup: Many causes of chest and arm pain but the fact that it woke you up is concerning. Best to get checked to rule out cardiac or GI cause, or pulmonary issue. Err on the side of caution with those symptoms.

Variable: BUT sound like angina and should have cardiology evaluation soon. Coronary disease is common, and more so in diabetics, smokers, and overweight patients.
