For 8-10 years, I supplemented with a high dosage of soy lecithin for its cholesterol-lowering and anti-atherogenic benefits. Recently this is not popular. Is it likely I did any damage? No symptoms.

No harm done: Soy products are healthy, yet there is always some controversy about all good nutrients , off and on. You should eat a healthy diet with ample amount of fruits, grains and veggies and avoid excess of animal fats. Top it up with more physical activity(walk daily) and you will not have to worry about taking any supplements!!. ...Read more

More research needed: A recent study showed that eating eggs, which are high in lecithin, leads to increased blood levels of tmao which increases risk of heart disease & stroke. Gut bacteria break lecithin down into tmao. However, this ignores other benefits of lecithin, such as improving blood lipids! many studies have been done showing eating 1 egg a day does not increase risk of heart attack or stroke. Yes: If us agrees with your lmp then dating is perfect, it was your lmp. 'implantation bleeding' is all the rage on the internet now, it's mostly nonsense. It's not common to see and is usually not 'implantation' but breakthrough bleeding. ...Read more
