Gravity brings the fluid to the feet & legs in that case. As a general rule, if one foot is swollen, something is wrong with the foot. If both feet are swollen, it's not the feet, but water ...Read more

Can bilateral Achilles tendinosis pain move up into the calves as the tendons heal? The tendon pain has improved but high calf pain has worsened.
No, thats very unli-: Kely. You probably developed some other problem, depending how you were treated for tendinosis. Possibilities include muscle tears (unlikely that you have it on both sides); clots (again very rarely do they occur on both sides); weakened muscles in the calves, if you have been treated by resting them for more than a few days ; now they are hurting, as you start getting around. If a patient with chronic psoriasis suddenly develops severe joint pain and pain in the thighs around the age of 40, what disease is indicated?
What could cause 'clicking' in the lower back at the l4/l5 s1 level. It's centralized. Occurs with extension and no radiculopathy. With severe pain.
Facet Arthropathy: Could be facet arthropathy/arthritis. There are joints in the spine where the bones articulate and can develop bone spurs and cause the clicking with pain typically with extension. I would consider seeing a pain/spine specialist to see if facet injections or radio frequency ablation would be helpful for you. ...Read more

More info. needed .: . . . Hard to help without additional info. Callous formation implies healing. The real question is the cause, correct? Rib fractures rarely occur spontaneously (i.e. without a reason). If you are certain that there was no trauma involved, it is very important that your husband contact his doctor to be evaluated for the cause. I hope this helps. Best of luck. ...Read more

Does exertional compartment syndrome of the ant/lat comp's cause scar tissue to develop in the lower leg over time?
Compartment Syndrome: Exercise-induced compartment syndrome is due to a pressure build-up within the muscles of the leg. Muscles are enclosed within a tight tissue called a fascia. This fascia wraps around and contains the muscle. Normally, the fascia has enough extra room within to allow the muscle to function without problem. During exercise this room may be reduced causing symptoms. Does not cause scarring. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
No fluid present in the subacromial subdeltoid bursa moderate edema seen along the fibers of the infraspinatus muscle ? What does that mean . This was due to a auto accident 2 yrs ago .
This : This appears to be from a MRI report. It is best to discuss the findings with the treating physician, who has had a chance to take a full history and examine you. These findings sound unremarkable in isolation. The comment on fluid is usually looking for inflammation in the bursae. If there is no significant signal of increased fluid, it is unremarkable. The edema in the infraspinatus muscle may be some fluid signal with no clinical significance. Most people with rotator cuff problems have tearing of the supraspinatus muscle first, with extension into the infraspinatus only for larger tears. The "edema" may also be normal for your age. Of note, most rotator cuff tears are degenerative and not related to a specific injury, again depending on your age. Again, clinical correlation is always best and you should go over the study with your physician. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
