Late Stages Of Chlamydia
My partner was diagnosed with chlamydia, I don't present any symptoms and got tested today (results in 3weeks). Would it be too late to treat then?
Possibly: But cannot understand why the results are taking so long. Contact your physician and discuss about earlier diagnosis and possible empirical therapy. The reason is that if you develop infection in the tubes and ovary it may leave you infertile. You might want to get a second opinion. Read more

Can chlamydia cause me to miss my period? Lmp was 11/11/2013 I am now 5 days late. Could I be pregnant?
It could, but....: The number one cause for a missed cycle is pregnancy, so if you had unprotected sex, than there is always the chance of pregnancy. I have been diagnosed and treated for chlamydia my period is 5 days late but hpts have been negative. Am I pregnant or is this the cause of chlamydia?
So I have had chlamydia twice now and I was on both medications. I am late for my period. Could I have PID or be pregnant? I am sexually active too..
Confusing...: Chlamydia or PID usually don't delay period, but of course pregnancy does. Does "both medications" mean treatment for each of your two chlamydial infections? Or more than one antibiotic for the latest one? The second drug, usually a shot of ceftriaxone, is for gonorrhea. If PID was suspected, you need more treatment. Make sure partner (s) treated and no sex during treatment! Discuss w/ your doctor. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
