Changing INR: It is relatively common for inr to change even though a person keeps taking the same dose of Coumadin (warfarin) and is careful with diet, taking the same amount of green foods (salads, green vegetables). Lupus antibodies do raise inr but unless there is a change in the level of lupus antibodies, it would not affect the inr. Some individuals have a very labile (changing) inr for no apparent reason. ...Read more

I am 37 female and I have sle lupus among other things I have pain all over. I went to the ER last night they found high wbc. S.O.S. Helpless?

Maybe nothing.: Talk to your rheumatologist or primary care doctor first. Some people always have a little bit of a high WBC and some medicines (including those used for lupus) can raise the white blood count.

By Gluten "exposure: I assume you are referring to Gastrointestinal. Ingestion and gluten intolerance (adult "coeliac" disease and other Gastro-intestinal disorders leads to GI symptoms. Not arthritic flare ups as commonly associated problems!
Talk with your PCP about a referral to a Board Certified RHEUMATOLOGIST for further evaluation!

Heads up: I think we may already have met. As a pathologist / specialist in lab medicine, I would suspect that one or the other was a lab error. The ANA is a very easy test to do wrong. SLE: Confusion and dizziness are common symptoms with many causes. When they occur during every lupus flair the SLE is the most likely cause. These symptoms can also be caused by steroids used to treat SLE flairs as well as other medications. You did not say how often your flairs occur or how long they last.
