Is there any scientific evidence that the palovia laser (for wrinkles around the eyes really works?
PaloVia Laser : One such article claims excellent results: http://www.Jaad.Org/article/s0190-9622(12)00143-0/abstract. There are very few case-controlled clinical trials to rely on, though. As with any home remedy, the claims always seem to be "the best thing since sliced bread." this is one case where i would read he blogs and see how other users have faired. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Erbium / IPL: Most physicians who perform fully ablative deep laser resurfacing these days agree that erbium lasers offer a big advantage over co2 with respect to safety & complications. That being said, it probably matters who is delivering the laser treatment, what the anatomy is, and the set expectations, more so that the actual laser type. I got a home made tattoo 9 weeks ago & it looks a bit wrinkly & you can feel the lining. I plan on laser removal in a year. Will I be scarred after?
Laser tattoo removal: There is a reasonable risk for scarring with laser tattoo removal although the lasers have gotten very good in the last few years. The best approach for laser tattoo removal is "slow & low"... Low energy settings on the laser over several treatments (can take 8-12 treatments for some tattoos). Does face laser to remove hair cause discoloration & dark pigmentation to the skin? Does it also cause wrinkles/weakness of the skin? Using since 2004
Not usually: BUT different people call different things lasers. If you have a darker skin type then IPL for example (which some call laser but is not) can cause post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Assuming you had the laser hair removal done professionally, ask the person who did it what they used and what can be done now about the pigmentation. Another type of laser (1064 NdYag) perhaps. Good luck! ...Read more
