These only become significant when there is a neurologic deficit or pain which directly correlates with the findings on mri. With the findings on this MRI no neurologic findings are expected. Contracture of the SCM would not really affect the jugular vein unless you contract it to the extent that increases the pressure in the venous system which causes venous distension in general. Hernia repair: Laparoscopic ventral hernia repair is actually a very painful procedure. Additionally, seromas are also very common, but usually reabsorb and are gone by 6 to 12 months. Any remaining fluid collection is usually not symptomatic and can typically be left alone.
