Large Soft Lump On Back
Inflammed Lymph node: The lymph nodes of the back of the neck drain the lymph fluid from the scalp area. So often when patients complain of this situation we check to make sure they don't have a lesion on the scalp. But otherwise it can be caused by a number of other things. If they don't resolve or get bigger, they should be seen, antibiotics my be necessary.See 2 more doctor answers
I have flat lumps some quite large some smaller on the very back on my tounge can only see when I stick it out very far, should I be worried?
Papilla: These are taste buds and are normal structures. See your physician if you have continuing concern.
Maybe: If you are referring to the where the neck joins the trunk, yes. The lowest bone in the neck (c7) has a prominent spinous process, a projection where muscles attach. It is normal to be able to feel its tip. C2 is also large; it can be felt in some folks; it is just below the back of the skull.
Head lump: This really depends on what it is. Very difficult to provide advice without this information. May be from bone, hair, skin, blood vessel, etc...

Hello, is it normal to have very small lumps on the front/middle of the tongue and larger ones on the back the same color as the tongue?
Hard to answer: This is hard to tell without seeing them. There are some larger lumps at the back of the tongue that are normal. They are taste buds, There are also normal bumps on front of tongue called papillae. Look at some pictures of bumps on tongue on google and if yours do not look like this then see your doctor or dentist for exam.See 1 more doctor answer
I have a large hard lump by my lower spine, left side, doesn't move and won't go away, and is very painful and hurts to touch. What is this?
Be seen: I would definitely be seen just to make sure it is not cancerous. That being said, the most common thing we will see is an inflamed bursa over the sacroiliac joint, known as a bursitis. When the bursa becomes inflamed it can become tender and swollen.
I have a firm, large lump on the bottom right corner of the back of my head. It is painless and seemed to be growing for months. What could it be?

Good evening, I'm female fourty years old, im a smoker and I have burning feeling and big lump on my upper right middle of my back. What can it be?
Hard to say: But things that I would worry about that could cause this are an infected or inflamed cyst. You could also have a skin abscess. There are other things it could be to besides what I mentioned. Without seeing it, it really is difficult to be more specific. Your best bet is to be evaluated in person. Best wishes.See 1 more doctor answer

I have 2 large lumps in the lymph-node on the back/right side of my neck. (been there for a while) should I be worried?
See a doctor: Generally, if enlarged lymph nodes (if that is what they are), which have been present and unchanged for some time, are harmless. On the other hand it would be very comforting to be seen by a doctor who can examine these and tell you whether they need to be biopsied. Suspect all will come out fine.
